26 Days.

Another new day.
I feel like I'm starting to get a feel for who I actually am. I've always had a feeling of who I am, ever since I was about 9 years old. But, I'm starting to see my life in a new angle. Maybe I'm not suppose to be an artist that just sits at home, paints on a canvas, and stays in that life, every day, every moment.
I think my life is meant to be more.
I want to go out into nature and enjoy what was here before me, swim in a creek, canoe in a stream, go rafting in some river...enjoy life.
Maybe, I'm suppose to take what I know with my art, and the frame of mind, that art brings me too...and take it to a new level.
I read this somewhere, "We were born this morning, and later this evening is our death."
Really...That is how it is. Our lives are ALL short. Children die, old people die...
We all need to live for something real, we all need to life for ourselves.
Too many people get married because they just had a child, or they feel like they have to have a child because they are married.
No, live your life how you want too. Be an artist, throw paint on your face, and smile about it.

Any way...I feel like I've ranted, but I don't care. I enjoyed every minute of this post. :)

27 Days.

It's a rainy, rainy day. I'm almost tired because of all the rain. I miss the sunshine and the pretty colors in the trees, you know those dogwood blooms? Oh and the cheery blossoms.
So, I thought of something today. I thought maybe I should post not only about the trip but my feelings in general, because how I am now, will be different then what I will be in 40 days.


1. I love music. My favorite band right now: The Pretty Reckless, Korn, and Simon and Garfunkel., I know what you're thinking. How different? Well I'm in love with the sound of Simon and Garfunkel, they make me want to go for a swim in my backyard, and just relax. Korn, makes me want to draw something awesome or paint...Then The Pretty Reckless, is a band that makes me want to be some rebel without a cause, but lets face it I'm a nerd.
2. I in-love with Sims 3. Told ya I was a nerd. I plan on taking Sims 3 with me to Europe, but mainly to play with on the plane and if/when we are sitting down for long periods of time.
3. Movies have to be mentioned, because they are just flat out AWESOME. I love horror movies, Scream, The Exorcist, Friday the Thirtteenth, and some others. I also enjoy those girlie movies. The Time Travelers Wife, A Walk to Remember...I'm not all into those.

There is more about myself I could explain, but this is in-fact, the internet, I don't want to tell everything about myself, do I?

A Home That's Far Away.

I'm ready for this. A chance to be away from home, on my own. A chance to take the world into my hands.
I'm completely and utterly excited. My whole life has had nothing really THIS big, but really bad BIG things. Who wants bad things to come all the time? I certainly don't.
 One more day closer.
